Golden wasn't too bad a word this week.. I was toying with producing a Sinbad/Golden Flees related image and then plumped for a crappy old Hammer film 'The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires'. I wanted to try my hand at a Mike Mignola inspired piece using lots of black and some muted colours.. it looks okay, except that in retrospect the pose (and hands) make him look more like a malformed Thunderbirds puppet... arse!Dave's getting back up to speed with his artwork now and this collection of Characters from Lord of the Rings proves the point! Great Stuff!

I love the 7 Golden Vampires piece!! I bought the film recently but I haven't had a chance to watch it yet. I've seen the first 10 minutes.
Always love seeing any art that is inspired by a Hammer film!
