Here's my entry for the W.O.W blog word of the week 'ISLAND'... as soon as I thought of the word I had The Misfits song 'This Island Earth' buzzing around my head... and subsequently the movie of the same name (and the iconic Metaluna Mutant). I had initially sketched out ideas for a mutant dancing around a record player, but it proved to be pretty bloody frustrating trying to convert the picture I had in my head onto the page... so I started to piece together a picture, which began to echo the DIY visual ethic of the early Misfits releases... and here we are!
