A strange discussion with a few fellow artsy fartsy friends resulted in an idea to produce an illustration on a monthly basis based on a randomly selected album/song title from our personal record collections... Erm... we came up with the idea for doing this a couple of months back... and true to form (of late) it sank without trace.... but here it is at last! Based on the song "Naked Girl Falling Down The Stairs" by The CRAMPS.
I was inspired by Saul Bass (and his VERTIGO poster work) for this one... I think it might lend itself well to a band poster at some point maybe. We are hoping to get this up and running as a regular monthly project alongside the Word Of The Week (which has taken a battering of late)... It's about time we started getting back into the swing of things!!
Cornish?.... Cornish? What a horrible word that turned out to be!! After a lot of deliberation and ponderification (I just made that word up) regarding a different idea, I remembered that Hammer Films made 'Plague of the Zombies' in Cornwall.... ZING!!!! An idea was born... Here's 2 zombies heading off to the Slaughtered Lamb pub after a hard day's work slaving down the Cornish Tin Mine.
