A fun little Illustrator exercise using geometric shapes.

Poster time!

The gears are slowly grinding back up on the creative front (thankfully) so here's a work in progress poster (it's almost finished, just needs a release date or gig adding) for british band CUT YOURSELF  IN HALF, on the New Heavy Sounds label.

I did the original sketch 2 years back, after Jed at the label got in touch with me over an illustration I put together for BLACK MOTH, but I was never really happy with it. I just started playing around with the shapes and positioning tonight whilst watching The Walking Dead, and this just kinda happened... just like the old days! The addition of the texture on the layout made all the difference to the picture's look and feel, softening the harsh lines of the digital artwork.

7" Series - GLITTER WIZARD

It's about time I picked up the ball and started playing again... I've been lucky enough to have been chosen to contribute to the forthcoming MAILME ART project... and I'm so pleased to be a part of this... finally... a reason to get creative!

For anyone interested... GLITTER WIZARD are an awesome band I came across last year.
