The Earth Witch
Work in progress poster design for (an as yet undecided) band, using the recently sketched queen. I recreated her in illustrator... but may play around with the original drawing when I get a chance.

Huntress - Starbound Beast
Sketch of vocalist Jill Janus. Based on the cover art for the new Huntress LP - 'Starbound Beast'
Queen of the dead
Beware the Queen of the dead, and those who dwell in dark places...... they will forever pester your for small change.
Girls, Girls, Girls...
A few recent sketches I'm pretty happy with! Sorry for the crappy phone pictures... will break the scanner out one of these days. Who knows, I might even work some of them up into finished pieces and get back to doing some proper artwork!

Misfits
Work in progress poster for the Misfits forthcoming show at the UK's Rebellion Festival. Prefer the sketch I posted recently, but there's something in this illustration that is compelling me to carry on with it... not sure what 'it' is at the moment though!
Blood Ceremony (revised)
Playing about with the Blood Ceremony poster. Didn't feel that the face fitted in the original version... this is still a bit of a 'work in progress' but it 'feels' much better... and creepier!

Witch Hunters (Sketch)
Watched Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters last night... it was alright... Famke Jansen was great in it!! Here's a sketch I did this morning of the titular heroes!

Dead Composer
Strange sketch I did of a dead composer... I wonder if this was a subconscious statement on the death of the music industry?.... Nah, just a dead composer!
Gig Poster (Sketch) - SOUNDGARDEN
Saw a full page ad in the latest issue of Metal Hammer for an upcoming UK tour by the reunited Soundgarden. It was a bit boring... which inspired me to put this sketch together. Really pleased with it, and have an idea for the colourways that pays homage to Louder Than Love.
Huntress - Starbound Beast
Here's another sketch, this time in relation to the forthcoming second album from the Jill Janus led HUNTRESS. Starbound Beast, due out in June on purple vinyl!! Here's the sleeve art for it.
Gig Poster Sketch - The Misfits.
Sketch and inked version for a poster for The Misfits 2013 UK tour.
Sketch time - Rodney Matthews style minstrel.
Sorry for the poor photo quality... crappy phone! Here's a Rodney Matthews inspired multi-instrumental minstrel from the farthest reaches of the unknown forest (who has appeared on the blog a long time ago, when he was last passing through).
Inspiration artwork
Here's some great sleeve artwork, that I'm finding really inspiring at the moment.
